Sorry it’s been such a long while since my last email but with the changeover of websites, the technical side went a bit doolally!
Wow, what a busy 6 months it has been here at Jen’s Cupcakery HQ!
A new website (hope you have visited and like), double finalist in the National Cupcake Championships up at the NEC Birmingham, supplier to Dorking Halls Cafe for whom we now provide a delicious display of cupcakes, muffins, brownies and other baked goods and last but not least, chosen as one of the Small Biz 100, one of just 100 small businesses nationally to be profiled for Small Business Saturday last December. We also now have a monthly column in the glossy Surrey magazine Essence, where you can find recipes for some of our bestselling cakes.
On the subject of the press, we have been featured a few times over the last 6 months including a piece on the National Cupcake Championships in the Dorking Advertiser and Surrey Advertiser, our move to Dorking (although we still very much have a presence in Esher), and articles in the Surrey Advertiser BNE as well as, excitingly, the national Guardian newspaper online on our Small Biz 100 selection (for which I was very excited to be invited up to Downing Street!)
2015 is set to be an exciting year for Jen’s Cupcakery – we have already expanded our range to include novelty cakes (we love making these!), but will also be offering brownies, flapjacks and muffins. We also have a new venture starting off in the middle of the year so watch this space!
In the meantime, we hope to see all of our lovely regular customers as well as some new come rain or shine (or snow) in 2015 kicking off with Walton Farmers Market this Saturday 7th. We will have all our usual bestsellers including some new delicious additions.
If you haven’t already, please Like our page at www.facebook.com/jenscupcakery as we will be holding some special offers and competitions this year…
Look forward to seeing you Saturday!
Love Jen x
