FAQ / Q&A

How do I order your cakes

Order on line,  or by phone or via FB or Twitter.

Where else can I buy your cupcakes?

Aside from ordering online, we are at Walton Farmers Market at The Heart, Walton on the 1st Saturday of every nonth.

You can also buy our cupcakes on a daily basis from The Larder @ The Medicine Garden, Cobham.

We will also soon be supplying Harris & Hoole at Tesco’s, Brooklands, Weybridge.

How long do your cupcakes stay fresh?

After rigorous testing, we have found that stored in an airtight container our cupcakes stay fresh for 2 to 3 days..if you can keep them that long!

Can I store them in a refrigerator?

We don’t advise this as it changes cake texture from lovely soft fluffiness to a rather heavier cake. The only exception being when fresh cream or cream cheese toppings are used and it’s very hot weather. We always suggest keeping them somewhere cool and dry.

Can I be sure that high standards of hygiene are upheld?

You certainly can! Jen’s Cupcakery continues to hold a 5* certificate from Elmbridge Borough Council, the highest rating for hygiene.

Is there a minimum order?

We would ask you to order a minimum of 12 of the Regular and 18 of the Petite please. Once tasted, you’ll wish you’d ordered more!

Can you customise cakes to order?

Absolutely! we can create bespoke cupcakes and cakes to match any theme or event, just let us know what you want and we will endeavour to turn your dream into cake reality.

When and how do I pay for my order?

We ask for payment in full on booking in on most occasions via Paypal (if you don’t have Paypal, we sometimes accept cash on delivery/collection).  If the order is for a wedding, we ask for 50% on booking and the remainder 14 days before the event.

Can you deliver?

We can deliver - please contact us for a quote.

Do you hire cupcake stands?

Yes, we have a small range of stands ranging from 3 to 7 tier acrylic stands as well as  number of other bespoke stands. Contact us for prices.

How far in advance should I place my order?

Ideally – and in order that we have space in our schedule – a couple of weeks is good notice but we always try to accommodate those last minute orders.

I need to cancel my order - how do I do this?

We understand that sometimes things happen but we do ask you to give us at least 24 hours notice if you want to cancel an order. If it is a large order, then a return of the deposit would be at our discretion.

What size are your cupcakes?

Our Regular cupcakes are approx 55mm x 33mm but we source our cases from many places (including China)  in order to get the best range avabilable so these sometimes vary.

Our Petite cupcakes are approx 38 x 28mm (not the really mini ones most people do).
