I spent what seems like a lifetime cooking up stories for companies in the world of PR but after redundancy, whilst working out what to do next, I baked a batch of cupcakes and voila! my love of baking was born. Starting from my tiny home kitchen in  a Grade II listed cottage, I got my first Farmers Market pitch, came runner-up in a national Markets competition and also “The Great Chocolate Cake Off”in London’s Covent Garden and Jen’s Cupcakery was up and running. Now I spend my days covered in icing sugar and loving every minute of it. What I love most though is putting a smile on happy customer’s faces. And my cupcake family has grown to embrace everything from traditional sponges, to cute cake pops and novelty cakes as well as our latest addition of  “cakes in a jar”…
